2008 was a record-breaking year in Colchagua Valley. Although budding was initially delayed due to a long, cold winter, the summer months sustained unusually high temperatures that concentrated the fruit on the vine.

One-eighth the size of Bordeaux, this small little valley is responsible for some of the world's most expensive wines… Ours, however, is not one of them. We've taken the ego out of the equation and bring you world class wine at a darn good value.

Aged in French oak barrels for 14 months, this wine strikes the perfect balance between fruit and wood, yet retains vibrant acidity and supple tannins. Reserva Privada is the perfect match for finer recipes including grilled and roasted meats as well as for rich pasta dishes.

The warmth of the Wahluke Slope produces Chardonnay with an appealing tropical fruit character and rich texture. The 2007 Indian Wells Chardonnay delivers ripe pineapple flavors and showcases the luscious opulence of Washington fruit. I like this wine with scallops, scampi, or pasta with slightly richer sauces.

Full and intense flavor of roasted pear and nectarine are warmed with toast and spice. Clean delicate fruit balanced with acidity builds to a long, lingering finish.
